I love how these roses in Penticton’s public gardens are just blooming and blooming.

I hope you enjoy your Tuesday.

In the Forest of Dean This month, all the photographs in the series were taken in September, though not this year. My digital pictures go back to …
#ScenicSaturday 24/Sep/22
A beautiful scene from Stuart’s Forest of Dean collection. Thanks for sharing, Stuart.
As my son used to say when he was a teenager, sometimes you just need to chillax (especially if it’s a beautiful September day). 🙂

Happy Sunday.
We had a gorgeous autumn day walking along Lake Okanagan from the village of Naramata.

There were so few signs of the seasonal change that it really almost felt like summer!
Happy Friday.
These ornamental grasses have turned a golden colour that is contrasting beautifully with the blue sky and green bushes.

We’re coming to that time of year when the contrasts will become more and more prevalent.
Happy Monday.
After a mostly sunny day, the weather became overcast, but it was still about 20C (68F) and very comfortable for an evening walk.

We saw this sailboat heading into the Penticton marina for the night, which seemed a good idea to me as the wind was coming up quite strongly. It seems we are getting some residual effects from the typhoon that just crossed the Pacific and bumped into the coast. That interaction is much farther north in Alaska, but apparently, this is leading to significant weather impacts in the south, wind included.
Happy Sunday.
I love this light pink rose that was blooming contentedly in Penticton’s public rose garden.

Isn’t it pretty?
Happy Saturday.
I took this picture with my cell phone, so not the greatest camera for taking photos of the moon, but I like the effect of the aura.

Happy Sunday.
Lake Okanagan at night.

The wind came up and the lake had quite a bit of wave action.
Happy Thursday.
I passed this young deer as he was having a snack near a sidewalk.

He briefly stared at me before deciding I was of no consequence and returned to his yummies.

Meanwhile, his mom decided that she didn’t like me and crossed the road.

Not too quickly, but she made her point.
Happy Tuesday.
