Happy Monday.

Happy Monday.
A relaxing afternoon park scene.

Happy Sunday.
I found some very pretty hydrangeas still blooming away in a protected corner.

I love how their colours graduate from pink to pinky white. So lovely and very different from all the Halloween pumpkins that are beginning to pop up everywhere!

Happy Saturday.
During a walk today I stopped to admire the gum trees along Okanagan Lake. They are suddenly turning, but they are turning both red and yellow.

I love how interesting and lovely these trees are in their variegated autumn dress, but they won’t last long and have to be appreciated now.
Happy Friday.

Halifax, NS as seen from the Darkside.
A gorgeous sunset photo from 100 Country Trek. I hope you stop by her blog to take a look at more of her beautiful photos.
Some recent sights from my walks.

Happy Thursday.

A beautifully mystical and atmospheric photo from Harrie Nijland. I hope you stop by his blog to take a look at his many gorgeous pictures.
While walking last week, I passed some underbrush that was full of little quail. But because they are so quick and blend in so well, it’s hard to get photos of them.

I was only able to get this shot, although I stood watching their busy busyness for about 15 minutes. They’re very adorable, if somewhat elusive!
Happy mid-week.

We toured Siena and Florence (Firenze) on two different days. We enjoyed the cityscapes of both cities. Florence was packed with tourists everywhere …

More beautiful photos of Italy from Stephen Hung. I hope you stop by his blog to see the rest of them!
I enjoy stopping here to watch the ducks or to see if I can spot any fish.

No fish to see this time but it’s always a very tranquil spot.
Happy Tuesday.
