Happy Easter

The snow next to my front door is melting.

This is the snow that has been shovelled for the last several months from my steps, and it contains bits of sand and paint. Paint on steps doesn’t do well in this environment.
The snow awning is more under control now, too.

Spring icicles are much more welcome than autumn ones.
Happy mid-week. 🙂

Signs of spring. A jolt of joy! Blossoms cheer, weary hearts. Ode to Joy, hope and faith. Cheers to you and Happy Spring~

Have a good weekend. 🙂
This should give you an idea of how much snow is on my roof. I took this on Tuesday (March 16).

It’s beginning to melt and I’m starting to think we had better knock some of it down. I wouldn’t want any of that falling on my head!
Today, the icicles were starting to develop …

… and we had +7°C! It was such a nice break after literally, months of -30 and -40 … and sometimes, I really just didn’t want want to know. It was better that way.
The snow was soft and beginning to be slushy; snowballs were waiting to be made, snow sculptures were waiting to be found.
Yay! Bring on the melt!
Happy weekend. 🙂

… this icy lake will start to melt. The sun is beginning to have some power and the days are getting longer.
Happy week. 🙂
I love spring and summer …

… and this picture reminds me of a lovely, sunny day from last July.
I hope you have a Good Friday and a good weekend. 🙂
The Canadian weather-predicting groundhogs Wiarton Willie and Shubenacadie Sam decided that spring would be early this year. Yay!
I saw my shadow but I decided not to let it scare me.

I hope your local groundhog has sent good weather tidings your way.
Happy mid-week. 🙂

The idea here is to brighten the day for those people isolated indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic. If you find pleasure in this, please share it, …

Stuart is brightening our days with another beautiful picture. Thank you, Stuart. 🙂
I am missing home. It’s beautiful …

… but then again, home always is.
