Blossoming magnolia bud
A beautiful magnolia from Vova Zinger.
We drove through Jasper National Park yesterday.

It had been a long time since I had seen it during spring (I have recently seen it in summer, autumn and winter) and it didn’t disappoint. It was sunny with a soft spring breeze blowing, and we even heard some birds trilling and chirping. Beautiful!
Happy Monday.

I share these pictures to show the beauty of our world, hoping viewers may be inspired to take action to save it from the destruction we humans are …
#ScenicSaturday 1st April 2023
A beautiful aerial view from Stuart.
We drove through Jasper Park in January and were rewarded with beautiful mountain scenes.

We are again travelling through Jasper but this time in spring conditions. Photos to follow.
Happy Sunday.
I haven’t seen many robins north of 60° north latitude, but here’s one that is either very early or may have overwintered.

Amazingly, some do, relying on berries to survive as robins are not seed eaters. In summer, they eat bugs and worms, but those aren’t much available in most winter climates. They will also eat suet, so if you have a suet feeder in your yard, you might attract an early or overwintering robin.
Happy Saturday; happy weekend.
Great things to look forward to.

Maybe Carly Simon said it best. These are the good old days. 🙂

I’m finding this candlelight particularly comforting right now.
Happy Wednesday.
