Springy Jasper

We drove through Jasper National Park yesterday.

It had been a long time since I had seen it during spring (I have recently seen it in summer, autumn and winter) and it didn’t disappoint. It was sunny with a soft spring breeze blowing, and we even heard some birds trilling and chirping. Beautiful!

Happy Monday.

    1. The Rocky Mountains are stunning, especially when you have such good conditions. I like how the tops of the mountains are still snow-covered and contrast with the blue sky. Cheers.

    1. Thank you very much, Allan. It was gorgeous yesterday. The sun was spring warm with a very gentle breeze and when we went for a walk we heard birds. Fantastic. May will be an excellent time to visit.

    1. Jasper National Park has cabins for rent. The commenter above (Allan at kagould17) goes a couple of times a year to Patricia Lake cabins and posts about his trips together with lots of photos. It is definitely a stunning part of our world. Cheers.

  1. The snowy part looks the same as in winter. Oops! I should take that back. There’s probably even more snow up there in the winter. But maybe the lower elevations are starting to ease into spring.

    1. In winter you might not be able to see the mountain tops because of falling snow! When we stopped for a walk it was gorgeous. Beautiful spring sunshine, a gentle breeze, birds singing; so great! It was much colder in NWT; -14 when we left and blowing snow. Driving wasn’t fun. Arriving in Jasper was marvellous!

I'd love to hear what you have to say!
