Happy Friday!

Jasper National Park, Alberta.
Happy Friday!
How very Canadian: an ice block with a maple leaf carved into it.

Happy Tuesday from the Northwest Territories where carving ice blocks is a real thing!

Nope, but it sure looks like a small one!

Happy Thursday.
I like how the frozen surface of the little snowflake reflects the light from my camera; a crystalline brightness.

Happy Wednesday.
We recently drove through some ice fog.

It has a beautiful effect, and seriously coated the leading edge of our truck antenna, but it can also cause slippery driving conditions and poor visibility.
It’s much better to observe its charms from inside.
Happy Sunday.
Our daylight hours are slowly lengthening now, but they still feel very short.

By June, our sunsets will be occurring at 2:00 a.m., but for now, we have plenty of darkness for sleeping.

Happy Thursday.
Another beautiful view from our recent drive through Jasper National Park.

Happy Tuesday.
At a rest stop while driving through British Columbia and Alberta on the Yellowhead Highway, we saw this beautiful scene.

Happy Monday.
