A watery sun breaks through the overcast to lend the day some brightness.

Happy Sunday.

Sunshine petals!

A summer flower to brighten your February.
Happy Monday.
At present there are a number of public art installations throughout Penticton as part of a rotating exhibition. Below is a picture of one of them.

When I first saw it, I thought the intension was to emphasise fun on the sunny beaches, that sort of thing. However, once I read the signage, I saw that the point was much more serious.

Is Big Brother spying on us? What do you think?

Happy Summer!

Happy Monday.
We had a combination of rain and snow that later cleared and turned into a nice sunny day …

… that almost made it above 0C.
Happy Friday; happy Easter weekend. 🐰

I hope your day goes well.
At least not for now, because we have had a major rise in temperature accompanied by sun!

The change from -21C (-6F) on Friday to today’s +8 (46F) has been huge, resulting in lots of water running everywhere and pond-sized puddles in yards, parking lots and soccer fields. I got a shower trying to get into the house!

You can see how much snow from the house eaves has already melted since a week ago.
Happy Tuesday!

Another month closes, ending the meteorological winter of the UK and summoning the sunshine of the coming spring. A welcome change following a time …
#Words and #PictureOfTheDay: 28/Feb/22
Beautiful sunset photo from Stuart.

Our temperatures have been moving a lot, from -12C (10F) down to -30C (-22F) and often, quite rapidly, as well. Sometimes there’s only a day or two between these extremes.
It’s unusual to have this much change in such a short period, but I like the warmer respites, and at least it has been sunny.
Happy Sunday. 😎
