I found this tree that’s well on its way to turning a full autumn red.

Happy Wednesday.

I love how these roses in Penticton’s public gardens are just blooming and blooming.

A beautiful scene from Stuart’s Forest of Dean collection. Thanks for sharing, Stuart.
Some things I saw just this last weekend.

Happy Monday.
As my son used to say when he was a teenager, sometimes you just need to chillax (especially if it’s a beautiful September day). 🙂

Happy Sunday.
When I first saw this plant I thought it was a fake, but then I touched it and discovered that it’s some sort of succulent.

Nevertheless, speaking of plants, here’s a vineyard view from the southern Okanagan’s Black Sage Bench. The grapes are plump and nearing harvesting.

Happy Saturday.
We had a gorgeous autumn day walking along Lake Okanagan from the village of Naramata.

There were so few signs of the seasonal change that it really almost felt like summer!
Happy Friday.
We took a walk through Penticton’s Japanese Garden.

The water level in the pond had dropped a lot; not surprising considering how dry August was.

We stopped to take a look at the many colourful koi. They expected us to feed them and swam eagerly to the pond’s edge.

Some of them are quite large!

This is a very tranquil garden on the edge of Lake Okanagan; such a beautiful spot.
Happy Thursday.
