Snow Melt

It’s nice to see the bright green winter moss and to also hear the gurgling snow melt water.

We have had a lot of rain which has made quick work of the frozen stuff, and it’s beginning to feel a teeny bit like spring might be on the way.

There’s a little snow at the higher elevations, but that won’t last long either.

Happy Wednesday.

The Landing

I took this very short video of small twin engine passenger plane on final approach into Penticton Airport over Lake Okanagan.

As it came closer, I took another photo as J wanted to capture the reflection of the landing lights on the water. The colours in the photo are more blue than I thought they would be.

It’s not a great photo but I like the reflection on the lake.

Happy Friday and happy landings.

Prairie Storm

On our way west we encountered an enormous rain storm on the northern prairies of Alberta.

The wipers struggle to keep up.

Prairie rain storms can start and stop suddenly, and this one came to an abrupt halt.

The rain slows.

Soon we encountered clearing skies and continued our drive under clear conditions.

Climbing above the Peace River valley.

Greetings from northern Alberta.
