I am very fortunate to live near this park.
It’s one of my favourite places for a stroll or to just sit on the beach and watch the lake. It always clears my head and leaves me feeling refreshed.

Monday Marvellous: Arriving Home
Last Monday we arrived at home in the Okanagan after our long drive from Northwest Territories. It was so good to get here after a tough and busy time of it.

Lovely lavender grows everywhere in the Okanagan.

The Overlander
M and I have stayed frequently at the Overlander Hotel just outside of Jasper National Park.
We carefully observed the covid protocols and it was a lovely visit in spite of them.

Fire Sky
At 11 p.m, the northern sun started to sink below the horizon.
The very long daylight hours …
… make up for the long hours of darkness in December.
These are not the best quality photos as they were taken from the side window of a moving vehicle, but in this series, it’s the sky that counts.

June 29’s Monday Marvellous
I will soon be leaving the north on a careful, hopefully covid-free, journey to my home in the Okanagan Valley.
