I was recently walking on a trail above Okanagan Lake …

… and stopped to take a photo of Penticton’s small pleasure boat harbour. I am very fortunate. 🙂

Lovely, Lynette!
Thank you, Jill. 🙂

Thank you! 🙂 I’ve left a comment on your post.
It has been a long time since we were in Penticton. It looks like a lovely day to walk by the lake. Thanks for sharing Lynette. Allan
35C here today, so we are going to wait until evening for our walk, but we do love it here. Hope you’re able to come back some time. 🙂
Poured rain here from 8-11, dark as night. Then the sun came out, +24 feels like +27. Biked 30 k today. Glad the weather is good for you. A
Thanks. I hope all that rain didn’t produce a bunch more bugs.
And, congrats on the 30 k!
How do you concentrate on your work when you’ve got gorgeous scenes like this all around you? 😉
It’s not easy, and I’ve committed to never taking this place for granted! 🙂
That’s the right attitude!
Thanks! 🙂
Yes, you’re very fortunate indeed! What a gorgeous landscape. 🙂
It really is gorgeous and yup, we’re very fortunate. 🙂
Hi. Are there any large towns in this region, or is it all very rural?
A bit further north on this lake (about 40 minutes by car), there’s the city of Kelowna, which about 130,000. The Okanagan has a rural vibe, but it’s also quite sophisticated because of all the tourism and wine dollars.
What a beautiful view. 😍
Yes – it is. 🙂
So beautiful view! You are fortunate to live in so beautiful place 🙂
Thank you. It is a very beautiful area and we love it here. 🙂 At the moment we don’t live here full-time and I will be back in the north in a couple of weeks.
