I am back in Penticton where although there’s a bit of snow, it’s much warmer than the -30°C (-22F) I left behind in the subarctic. Penticton’s -2C (28F) is so much better; almost balmy! 😉

Walking through the crunchy leaves has been an enjoyable autumn experience accompanied by strong childhood memories of playing in the leaf piles.

Some enterprising people have clothed this tree in a colourful patchwork of crocheted and knitted flowers, tassels, squares and other decorations.
