These bright yellow chairs sitting in the sun remind me that in about four days, I will be starting my holidays and heading to my home in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. For the most part, it will be a staycation. Looking forward to it.

Such a summery (and delicious!) cart. 🙂
I love spring and summer …

… and this picture reminds me of a lovely, sunny day from last July.
I hope you have a Good Friday and a good weekend. 🙂
The Okanagan Valley is quite famous for wine grapes, but for many years before that it was well-known for its fruits and vegetables, especially its tree fruits.
I am not usually a big lover of fruit, but there’s nothing quite like a fresh peach, warm from the sun, gently sweet and juicy, slightly tangy but not acidic. And that heavenly peachy perfume! Such a treat!

So as I sit on the equivalent of a massive glacier, I can always dream sweet summer memories of peaches. Mummm, I can almost taste one.
Do you have a favourite fruit?
Happy mid-week. 🍑
A pink and green summer remembrance …

… on a frosty Friday.
After an extended period of relatively warm weather, it’s getting cold again. It’s nice to daydream of summer.
Happy Friday; happy weekend. 🙂

Right now I am covered in snow (this is waaay too early!) at my work home, but pleasant July memories of my home home are sustaining me. This was taken on my birthday.
Have a good week everyone. 🙂
These aren’t the best photos …

… but I wasn’t going to get out of my truck for better ones, either.

Bison are hungry, unpredictable and big. Really big. They weigh up to 900 kg (2000 lbs), so photos have to come from the protection of my vehicle.
Greetings from the woodlands bison of the Northwest Territories. 🙂
