Since it’s winter and a lot of us are experiencing rather grey and/or white conditions, it’s time for a bit of colour and brightness. Here are a few reminders of what’s coming our way.

From time-to-time this winter we have had very lovely sunsets.

Sometimes these pink glows have been the result of a little break in the overcast during sunset …

… but at other times they have been caused by a sunny day. After a slow start, we just had one of those.

Everything was pinkwrapped, including these Canada geese who were heading for their evening roost.

We just had a beautiful January day with predictions for two more of them, so we’re planning to enjoy them as much as we can.

It was definitely brisk out as it was only 3C (37F), but there was no wind and I could actually feel a bit of the sun’s power.

After lots of grey overcast and rain, some sun and blue skies are a real treat!
