I found some tea roses still blooming in their cheery pink.

They won’t last much longer now, but it was lovely to see them still rosing along.

Having spent a week in Penticton, I am now back in the north. There aren’t any leftover roses here, as it’s too chilly in October!
It was really great to experience some gentler autumn weather for a little bit, though.
This Okanagan creek, lovely and luxuriant in the summer, is gently fading into autumn.

Still lovely in its decline, the true beauty is knowing it will be back.

Autumn wildflowers are such beautiful additions to the fall colour palette.

I think these may be a type of aster. They are definitely almost finished for the year, but they added their unique beauty to all of the colours we are experiencing right now.
