The snow is starting to disappear from these needles.

I am sure however that winter isn’t finished with us yet. It will try to re-assert itself and will snow, huff, blow, and swirl, but its efforts will dwindle until … spring!
Happy mid-week.

The Woodland Cove
A beautifully tranquil and serene landscape from Peerless Cynic. I hope you stop by Peerless’s site to see more peaceful and lovely scenes.
There’s a lot of snow on our roof, and it’s beginning to get soft, melty and slidey.

Right now it’s up there solidly, but it either will come down with a thunk or will simply melt away.

I predict that this particular roof glacier will fall rather than melt, but we’ll see. The snowy awning over the door has been trimmed back, eliminating any danger of a sudden snow dump while exiting the house, so it’s fun to watch the progression of the rest of it.
Happy Tuesday.

Another example of Spring having warm color as well. A fallen tree collected debris over the years and created a dam downstream from Murphy Falls. …
03.13.2023 Monday Mood
A beautiful spring picture from Stephen Gingold. I hope you take a look at his many beautiful photos.
A misty, moody March sunset.

But it’s warmer and there’s sun!
Happy Monday.

I share these pictures, taken during March, not this year, to show the beauty of our world, hoping viewers may be inspired to take action to save it …
#ScenicSaturday 11th March 2023
A misty day in Wales, courtesy of Stuart.
A bit of melting started happening yesterday as the sun carried some power even though it was still only -15C (5F) outside.

By week’s end we are supposed to go up by about 12° to -3C (27F) or so. That will be nice!
Happy Sunday, and don’t forget to change your clocks. Which reminds me, one of Dalí’s melting clock paintings is probably very appropriate today.

Cheers.
A glass of red can be so comforting on a cold, wintery night and especially together with a comforting meal.

Happy Weekend.

Summer tea roses! So nice to see at this time of year – a treasure yet to arrive.
Happy Friday; happy weekend.
