The showers – and more recently, the good rainfall – have helped the vineyards enormously as they continue to recover from January’s nasty cold snap.
There is more healing to come, but in the meantime, it’s a lovely sight as we take a walking break to admire the view.
Happy Tuesday.
Happy Saturday; happy weekend.
We’ve had old friends visiting with us over the past week and of course, there have been winery stop-ins to some of our all-time favourites.
A little view …
… a little shade and a little wine.
Happy Monday.
We took an 8-day “Tastes of Tuscany” tour two weeks ago. We stayed at the hotel at Montecatini for seven nights and used it as a base to tour Chianti…
Tastes of Tuscany – 1
Beautiful photos of Tuscany from Stephen Hung. I hope you stop by his blog for a look at his many gorgeous pictures.
When I first saw this plant I thought it was a fake, but then I touched it and discovered that it’s some sort of succulent.
Do you recognise this plant?? I tried looking it up but had no luck.
Nevertheless, speaking of plants, here’s a vineyard view from the southern Okanagan’s Black Sage Bench. The grapes are plump and nearing harvesting.
Today’s grapes become tomorrow’s wines. 🙂
Happy Saturday.
A vineyard is comfortably protected by a rocky hill in the Okanagan Valley near Oliver.
Happy Wednesday.
I will be intensely busy at work over the next week or so and won’t be posting. I will still be stopping by but my comments may be limited as well.
A beautiful August vineyard in the Okanagan Valley
Happy Tuesday and have a great weekend. 🙂
Recently, we stopped at the Nk’Mip Vineyard on a very hot summer day to have a bite, some water, and a glass of wine.

This bottle only had water, but it was lovely on a parched throat as we drank in the beautiful vista and waited for lunch.

Greetings from the ripening wine grapes of the Okanagan Valley. 🙂
Sometimes, life is like that.
