Thank you very much, Thomas. 😊 April and May can be very nice here; not too hot or cold. In June the temperatures start reaching the high 30s C which I find uncomfortable.
I find it amazing that Vancouver (that’s about where you live if I remember correctly) has almost as warm climate as Dallas. Spring for us can be dangerous with lots of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes.
I live in the city of Penticton which is in the interior of British Columbia at 49.5 N latitude. Vancouver is 49.2 N latitude but we are four highway hours to the east of it in the Okanagan Valley. Vancouver’s climate is very, very temperate all year. Palm trees actually grow there. 😊
This valley and surrounding region has the only semi-arid desert climate in the country which accounts for our mild winters and very high summer temperatures – the low to mid 40s aren’t uncommon. That’s why wine grapes and orchards of all kinds do well here.
Yes, your climate is very susceptible to thunderstorms and tornadoes. I hope you have a quiet spring this year.
That is a quite interesting climate, and thank you for wishing us less storms. Tomorrow will be a warm day, 93 degrees or 34 Celsius (according to the Weather Channel).
I like the way you captured the sun falling on the path in the last shot. Its the kind of photo you feel you can walk right into. Happy Friday Lynette. Allan
Thank you very much for your lovely comments, Allan. I walk that footpath almost every day; it’s definitely a favourite particularly in the evening when the sunset shines through there. Cheers.
Enjoy your day!

It started slowly here, but it’s been a mix of glorious sunny days and drizzly ones. Today’s drizzly, but hey, welcome to Spring! xx

Lovely. Won’t be long until those trees start to green up.

No, it won’t be long now. The willows in particular should be out very soon. Cheers.

Thank you, Anneli. It sure is. We’re becoming very overcast now though and the weather is supposed to worsen as we go into the weekend.

I’m hoping at least that the frost is finished because I just hauled out my overwintering-in-the-garage geraniums.

Our low on Sunday is projected to be -2 with a high of 11 for Monday. Check your temperatures for the weekend because you might want to cover them.
