A mostly sunny morning …… but then by mid-afternoon the clouds started rolling in …… and now we have this. At least the temperature is supposed to stay around 12C (54F), so no wet snow expected.
Wow, that is quite a change Lynette. It is always nice to be able to see the weather moving across a lake or a prairie to know what is coming. Have a great Thursday. Allan
Thanks, Allan. We have been getting some very dramatic swings all the way through March. It certainly hasn’t been a nice straight line to spring! Cheers.
Happy first day of spring, Lynette. It does feel like spring this morning. The rain has let up for a few hours. Dramatic cloud photos. I love the different textures suggested by the water’s surface.
Thank you very much, Anneli. Good to hear that it feels like spring in your area. Although our temperatures have been good we are definitely getting some dramatic changes on the wind and rain front. This lake has such a lot of character; I love taking pictures of it.
Thank you very much, Tricia. 😊 Hahaha. 😊 Lots of places, especially maritime places, likely have that saying. Unpredictable weather isn’t usual for this area but right now it’s apropos!
Beautiful pictures 🌅🌅

The last one looks like snow is on the way, but it must have been rain.

Yes, it was rain, but just a little drizzle. I thought we were going to get a deluge, but nothing much happened!

These shots always remind me of holidays by the water, so pretty! Happy Spring 😊

Thank you, Belinda. 😊 Our weather definitely hasn’t settled yet so a holiday here right now would probably involve some changeable skies!

I AM happy it’s Spring! I’ll even take a cold first day.

I am, too! The weather hasn’t been particularly cold here, but definitely variable on the wind and rain front.

I’m amazed at all the different … shall we say “nuances” of the lake that you can show in your photos.

They say the same thing in Scotland; if you don’t like the weather, just wait a few minutes! Lovely photos, Lynette.

Woohoo! If it weren’t for the miserable weather, we probably wouldn’t appreciate the sunshine as much!

A very good point, Linda! That large dark cloud looked like it was going to dump a lot of rain but we only got a bit of drizzle.
