Red, Red Sky
I spotted this brilliantly red sunset while out grocery shopping and captured it with my cell camera.
The sky was ablaze with the vivid colour from this sunset and certainly brightened my shopping trip!

Evening on Skaha Lake
We had another beautifully spring-like day today and took a walk at Skaha Lake.
Skaha Lake is the smaller lake that’s at the southern end of the city; it’s shallower than the very much larger Okanagan Lake at the north end and is a beautiful swimming and boating lake in spring, summer and autumn.
On our way to the lake we saw another, very definite sign of spring: the weeping willows have turned yellow which means that green leaves are close at hand!

A Genuinely Sunny Day
We were lucky enough to have a rare sunny day …
… and I made sure that I got out there to enjoy it.
The ducks definitely did.
It was lovely to sit and watch the sun go down through last year’s dried hydrangeas, knowing that they will soon be replaced by spring growth.
