Early Rhododendrons
The first little rhodie bud that I saw a few days back has now opened!
The bush with this single bloom doesn’t seem to be ready yet to produce those beautiful rhodie clusters but the bush next to this one is going to pop in the next few days.
The header picture shows flowers from 2024 but soon there will be some present spring lovelies for our viewing enjoyment.

A Profusion of Azaleas
These white azaleas (also known as white rhododendrons) are almost finished blooming but are still active in micro-locations where it has perhaps been a little cooler or a little more shaded until recently.
I love how extravagantly rich and showy they are; they hold nothing back!

Late Spring Rhododendrons
On yesterday’s walk I saw many rhododendrons. They have almost finished their lifespan, but are still impressively beautiful.
