Yes, it’s starting to feel a bit like spring, too. Earlier than usual but we really have had a mild winter. Yes, we’re supposed to get between 10-12, the result of a band of warmth coming off the Pacific and reaching us and Alberta. That will be nice!

It’s only two-three weeks earlier than usual so I think the chances of it lasting are pretty good. 😊

Thank you very much, Annika. I was surprised to see them looking like they’re about open. It’s a couple of weeks earlier than usual but we have had a very mild winter, too. It definitely does feel a bit springy!

Even in the quiet winter the Japanese Garden still looks peaceful and beautiful. It’s always such an amazing transformation when the landscape starts to wake up in the spring.

That garden is so beautiful all year round, even when there’s snow or it’s cold or rainy. I shouldn’t be but am always surprised at how many people stop in a sheltered spot to drink a coffee or have a sandwich. Agreed – the spring transformation is beautiful and amazing. Cheers.
