Our weather lately has been a mix of sun, rain and wind; short, intense rain storms have been quickly followed by sun and then more rain. This has left Okanagan Lake looking both settled and uneasy.

Gathering clouds in the distance …

… as the previous storm’s clouds dissipate.
Happy Wednesday.
The lake, like people, has varying moods.

Yes, Neil, it definitely does. I enjoy watching how this lake changes.

This spring has been like no other that I can recall. No doubt the lake has witnessed this patter many times before. Happy Wednesday Lynette. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan. The spring here has definitely been unusual, too. Quite a bit cooler and with a lot more rain but there have been many sunny breaks and in fact the temperature is really pleasant, not searing. Yours has really been up and down!

Beautiful captures. The weather seems to be all over the place, but at least the sun has been making an appearance, which makes it tempting to venture outdoors.

Thank you very much, Linda. We are definitely much cooler and wetter than usual but I don’t have a problem with that since we are still getting sunny periods. We’re supposed to be getting 30s for the long weekend but I’ll believe it when I see it. Weather predictions more than 24 hours out have been wildly inaccurate this spring.
