We have had a lot of rain and windy conditions over the last few days …

… but there have been beautifully sunny, calm periods, too …

… with ducks and flowers, too.

Happy Wednesday.

Well, after 3 days driving, we are now in the land of flowers in Victoria. So nice top see after the long winter. Happy Wednesday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. Have a great visit to Victoria, Allan. I have a lot of family there and don’t go often enough. It’s gorgeous all year, even in January. Cheers.

Your first photo with the pond and fountain is really pretty. It looks like a serene place to stroll and relax. Happy Wednesday!

Thank you. 😊 I love that spot, Tricia. It’s lovely to sit there for a few minutes or for an hour. It is indeed very serene and tranquil. Cheers.

Happy Spring, Lynette! We had a beautiful sunny day today, but cold! And yesterday was like winter! Still, the flowers here, like the ones in your pictures, are a treat to look at 🙂

Our temperatures have been good, around 17 or so (63 F) but lots of rain. That’s not a problem because we had a terrible drought here for three years, but I think I would like to see just a bit more sun! The weather in the east has generally been very unpredictable, I believe. I hope it settles out soon. Cheers. 😊

Yes, I agree. Those patterns are lovely. This is part of a Japanese garden and is meant to be very tranquil and serene which it really is. Cheers.

They are often designed for contemplation, and I can imagine it – they have an aged appearance which adds instant interest. Have a wonderful week-end. L xx

Yes, many people sit in this garden to read, watch the fish or just to sit quietly. It’s lovely. Thank you very much; you too. 🙂

Glad to hear there’s some sun and calmness between the miserable weather. Apparently it’s been a cold and dreary spring back home in southern Ontario. We’ve been enjoying some sunshine on the southern coast of New Zealand.

We’ve been getting a lot of rain intermittently but the temperatures have still been climbing; we’re in the 18 range now so at least it’s not cold. Ontario is cold and dreary; today I saw a news piece from there with snow falling in the background! Yikes. Great that you’re enjoying some lovely autumn weather in NZ. Cheers.
