Despite our up and down weather, things are beginning to take on more of a springish look.

The sun is taking a more prominent place …

… and the carp seem to be past their winter torpor.

Good signs!

Just in time for this week’s solstice, everything looks refreshed Lynette. Glad spring is springing. Happy Tuesday. Allan

Thanks, Allan. It does, doesn’t it? Everything is all washed off by the rain and starting to look greener. Cheers.

Nice to see the carp “jumping” 😊. The path next to the water is a beautiful and inviting sight!

I agree! That path is looking very spring-like and it’s good to see that the carp are fully awake. 😊 Cheers.

Ah the sun is definitely making it’s presence felt here with such apricity and the longer days. Alas it is snowing heavily right now but that is March in the prairies.

It’s not as warm here as it should be but it’s much too warm for snow, thankfully. About 12C. I hope your weather soon begins to show nice signs of spring but yes, March on the prairies can be very variable. I used to live in Medicine Hat and understand. Cheers.

Ah Medicine Hat – I have a friend in Maple Creek and we call it the hot spot of Saskatchewan as it is always way warmer than anywhere else!

Medicine Hat definitely has a microclimate. I remember sometimes that even if the weather all around us was quite poor, MH would be at least okay. And yes, certainly the hot spot of Saskatchewan!

They sure are, aren’t they? We’re overcast and rainy today but we need that, too. Cheers.
