Well, if you were in need of some differences in the weather and you were in our area yesterday, all you had to do was wait a bit! We saw all four seasons in about six hours.
I awoke to some of this …

… followed by buckets and buckets of this …

… and then a little of this …

… and then this.

March is definitely not boring.
Happy Friday.
There was a bit of a mixture here too where I live in the UK. Sun, rain and hailstones. I was very surprised to see the hailstones. But it only lasted for a short time. 😊

We had snow, rain and sun, but I’m happy to skip the hailstones! March can be such an unpredictable month; gorgeous one second and nasty the next! Good to hear the hail didn’t last long; it can do significant damage sometimes. Cheers. 😊

A rainbow is always huge treat! 🌈

It sure was and definitely signalled the clearing skies. Cheers. 😊

It’s funny how that can happen sometimes. No snow here, but we had to snatch a window of opportunity to get out for a walk yesterday xx

March can be wildly unpredictable, so you were probably right to grab your opportunity. I was amazed at how quickly we ran through all those weather types in a matter of hours! Cheers.

At least it went from snow to sun (or rather sunset) and not the other way around!

Agreed! I was astonished at the morning snow since we had had 12 the day before, but March always has its surprises!

Dear Lynette
It’s here the same. Now it’s sunny and warm, but in the morning, four hours ago, everything was frozen and for the evening sea fret is forecasted.
We like these changes.
Have a happy weekend

Hi Klaus, then you’re definitely not in danger of weather boredom! The March snow was unexpected here as it’s unusual even in January, but it didn’t last long. A good thing as people in this area aren’t all that experienced driving in it. Enjoy the sea fret – beautiful. Happy weekend to you as well. 😊

It’s playing lamb and lion all in one day 😊 Sounds like Calgary.

It sure does! At least it didn’t get very cold and apparently we needed the rain, too, so there were hidden advantages. 😊 Cheers.

Three seasons all in one day, as opposed to our one season yesterday…winter. About 8 cm of snow, so brown has turned to white. Happy Friday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. So sorry to hear about your winter blast. At least it wasn’t as much snow as you originally thought and I hope it melts soon!

You really had a taste of everything! Lovely rainbow photo 😊

We definitely did! But yes, we had some beautiful weather later on, including that rainbow. 😊

Yay March! Keeping you on your toes and encouraging you to snap photos throughout. Nice rainbow.

The rainbow was a lovely but very short-lived sight. I think it only lasted a one or two minutes, just long enough for me to get a picture from my deck. Definitely kept me on my toes, yes! Cheers.

Nicely said. I’m not bored with March, but I am tired of it!

March can be incredibly unpredictable, that’s for sure. Ours came in like a lamb so it’s probably going to go out like a lion!

We had a day just like that today. Rain, slush, hail, and then sunshine … with lots of clouds forming for tomorrow.

Hail? Ugh. At least we didn’t get that. We’re clear for today but lots of rain forecast for tomorrow. It’s that time of year and frankly I hope we get lots of moisture to hold off the fires this year.

That would be good.

Definitely wild weather! Yesterday we had sun, snow, rain and hail; crazy. I think the old saying is: “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb”.

It seems like lots of people in the west got that weather! I think the “rule” is that if it comes in like a lamb it goes out like a lion or if it comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb. 🤷♂️ This is lionish behaviour in the middle, do what does that mean? 😉

Good question; climate change has certainly changed all that.

Yes, good point. Climate change is probably the explanation.

I love how you put that: “lots of beautiful.”The weather changes were pretty amazing! Thank you very much, Benjamin. 😊 A good weekend to you, too! Cheers.

As far as I remember, in England “weather” summer or winter, the watery skies “rain”!!

Hahaha. That’s clever! 😊We definitely had watery going on, both in its liquid and more solid forms. A nice day today but more rain scheduled for tomorrow. It’s March. We have very hot summers with averages around 35C so not much wateriness happening then. Cheers.

Crowded House! Now there’s a blast from the past. 😊 Good band, though. As to the weather, all was well that ended well. 😉

This is quite remarkable. In Pennsylvania, we often get 4 seasons in a week but not within a day😊. The rainbow is magnificent 🌈

This was very unusual for us but uncommon weather is happening more and more, isn’t it? The rainbow was gorgeous but I was lucky to get a photo as it didn’t last long. Cheers. 😊

Very true. Rainbows don’t last long, so every time it’s a little miracle✨️✨️
