Sun Snow

A late January sun shines on snow-covered mountains to the eastern margin of the Okanagan Valley.

We have been fortunate to have had quite a few sunny days or part days during January …

… but not today.

Happy weekend.

  1. So pretty Lynette. A dusting of snow and open water is better than we have been getting. After a January with 22 days above average, we have been getting snow (maybe 20 cm so far with more to come) and then it is into the deep freeze. Gotta love January. Happy Saturday Lynette. Allan

    1. I looked at your weather and saw -22 at YEG with wind at -35. Brrr. 🥶 20 cm? That’s a lot of snow! Don’t forget to be cautious about the shovelling. Yesterday we had the start of huge black clouds, wind and rain coming out of the south but it has dissipated a lot this morning (big black clouds in more ways than one – ugh). Stay warm!

    1. Aren’t these longer days wonderful? We have definitely been fortunate in getting some sunny days – it has been so nice, especially after a very grey and overcast December. I hope you get some sunny days even if it’s still cold.
