On a recent walk I noticed that someone had hung single decorations from some of the trees and bushes in one of the parks.

It was a lovely bright discovery now that we have such rainy days and cloudy skies!
Happy Sunday.

I usually have a few spares because we have a very small tree. It’s a nice splash of colour.

Hi Jo, I just retrieved your comment from spam; I’m not sure how it got there but you and a few other regular commenters were in that folder. I hope I’ve fixed the issue now. 😊
Yes, we have lots of spares, too. I think that people – especially children – really enjoyed seeing these baubles. Cheers.

Thanks Lynette! I never know quite why it happens but it’s not the first time xx

The decoration really stands out, it kinda looks magical with the background.

I thought so, too. It was such a pretty little discovery against the grey sky and lake.

Agreed! There were about 7 or 8 trees or bushes with a single bauble hanging from them. It was very pretty. 😊

I love happening on these spots where someone adds a bright gleam to the winter landscape. A sign of hope. Happy Sunday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. I do as well. This was such a sweet surprise. There were about 7 or 8 trees or bushes with single baubles hanging from them. So delightful against the grey!

Strange, when I tried to like your comment in Reader I got a message saying “ you don’t have permission to view this private blog”. WP gremlins?!

That’s totally weird. That has to be WP gremlins. Thanks for letting me know.

It certainly attracts the eye, though the scene is lovely on its own 😊

Thank you, Belinda. 😊 I thought so too. The little red bauble lends a little lightness (or sadness, depending on your point of view). Cheers.

I am used to seeing that sort of thing at the ski hill on the way up the lift but occasionlly I will see a spot here in Saskatoon where someone has hung something. Bernie

Yes, I’ve seen the baubles outside at ski hills before but never in a park like that. These were non-commercial baubles that someone hung; quite cute. 😊 Cheers.

How festive and fun! It’s nice to see a pop of colour this time of the year when it’s so dark and dreary outside.

I agree, Linda; a bit of colour right now is a good thing! I saw a little girl (probably about 5) with her mum who was having a lot of fun finding them.
