We have had a few days of cooler temperatures but are now climbing back up there. But before it became too hot again – we’re expecting low 30s (about 88F) – we spent the day outside in the not-too-hot sun, walking and eating a late lunch.
We had a great day.

Looks lovely Lynette. It was a cruel irony yesterday for all school kids. Rainy and +15 for their last day of freedom. They are in school today and it will be sunny and 24 and even warmer on the weekend. No matter, the rain was badly needed. Happy Thursday. Allan

Thanks, Allan. Our schools don’t start until Sept 3, but I remember Alberta schools usually starting up before the Labour Day weekend. Definitely a cruel irony, for sure. At least there will be good weather on the long weekend and yes, the best of both worlds with some earlier rain, too. Cheers.

Thank you very much, Linda. Yes, we’re cooling to about 12 or so overnight – yay! We can finally sleep comfortably with the window open. We’re back to daily highs of 30 though and that’s predicted to last for another couple of weeks.
