Pink Garden Roses

Pink roses are such a symbol of summer.

It’s lovely to see so many of them in both public and private gardens around town.

Pink isn’t my favourite colour, but I do love how pretty these are.

And not only are they pretty, they smell divine, too.

If you are in Canada, happy Canada Day weekend, but to everyone, happy weekend.

    1. Thank you very much. 😊 Those pink and yellow roses are in the Penticton rose garden which is maintained by the city parks dept. They do excellent work with all the parks and planters that are everywhere.

  1. Pretty in pink, Lynette. Nice to see the roses out. Only the wild and smaller hardy bush roses around here right now, but the others are coming. We are still enjoying the lilac fragrance around our city. Happy weekend to you as well. Allan

    1. Thank you very much, Allan. Lilacs are so beautiful and it’s lovely to sit outside and catch their scent. The roses here seem to be doing a lot better this year without the scorching hot temperatures and dry conditions. Cheers.

  2. I was going to say “pretty in pink”, but just saw Allan’s comment. Great minds think alike. It’s amazing how roses can come in so many different colours, including different shades of pink. Have a happy Canada Day long weekend as well.
