I know it’s supposed to be “Wordless Wednesday,” but when I took these photos the wind definitely had the upper hand over Okanagan Lake.

We had 18C (64F) but with the wind coming straight out of the north there was a bit of a cool edge. I was glad I had my windbreaker.

This section of beach is set aside for dogs. This one was really enjoying his soft frisbee and how far the wind would take it. Doggie heaven for sure!

The azaleas are blooming but the wind was blowing so hard that I had trouble getting a click.
A few metres away from the lake it was much warmer and the wind was much tamer. Spring does have its quirks but it’s beautiful nonetheless.
Happy Wednesday.
Maybe, we can call this one windy and wild Wednesday Lynettte. The winds were howling here yesterday too. Hoping for some calm spring weather today. Happy Wednesday. Allan

We are much calmer today; I hope you are, too. The newly opened azaleas were almost being blown away, so yes, wild and windy is about perfect!

We had a heck of a storm here last night, thunders and lightnings and all that stuff. Instead, we have a still morning as of now, with a heavy fragrance of spring. Finally😍
I sent you some mail.
Cheers, Happy Wednesday!

Even with a cooling wind, 18 degrees is pretty nice.

In protected areas or away from the lake it was such a lovely temperature. The wind was really strong near the beach, though. I thought the azaleas were going to blow right off the bushes!

We had quite a blow a few days ago too.

I’m glad there was no snow with it. 😉

Actually, there was, but it was up in the hills. We were okay down here near sea level.

We had it up in the mountains, too, but I’m happy it wasn’t here!

We’ve had a gorgeous week with the same temperature and no wind. Supposed to rain tomorrow, but that’s good too. I like a mix.
Love that there is a section for dogs at the beach. There are so few beaches that allow them in the U.S. At least where I’ve lived. Try not to blow away.

Agreed. A mix is a very good thing. Today it’s warm, sunny and wind still; so great. I feel a long walk coming on. 😊
These dog beaches are everywhere. Some are much bigger than others. The dog pictured was so joyful. I watched him coming in with his owner and he was beside himself with anticipation. Lovely to see. 😊

It definitely looks windy from your pictures! How lovely that your azaleas are already starting to bloom.

It was such a windy day! It’s a wonder the azaleas weren’t blown right off the bushes! It is fantastic to see them in bloom already. Cheers.
