Thank you very much and also to you – Happy Maundy Thursday.
Yes, this lakeshore and beach are a seven-minute walk from our home in the downtown and we do frequently walk there, at times daily. Thank you very much for your kind compliment. I don’t know if you saw my recent “blue”post: https://lynettedartycross.com/2024/03/07/blue-is-the-hue/
Cheers.
What a lovely daily walk and a blessing for you! Thank you so much for directing me to your wonderful blue post – I’ve left a comment there! Now, if only the clouds would disappear and I could see some blue sky! Not long until I’m Sweden for a long break so lots of blue of the sea and lakes and green of the forest! 😀❤️
You’re very welcome. 😊 Blue is definitely the hue! We had some very beautiful weather followed by a few days of rain but that’s an excellent thing here as we are still recovering from last summer’s drought.
Sweden is such a beautiful country! I haven’t visited in a few years now but I remember it well. Lots of blues and greens, yes. Enjoy your visit and safe travels. Maybe post some pictures. 😊
Thank you very much, Allan. 😊
I enjoy seeing it empty and also seeing people having fun, too. It definitely is easier to walk and especially to stop to take a picture or to dawdle but both are great. Cheers.
Very true! We saw a couple of children in bathing suits playing at the water’s edge yesterday but in spite of a windless 18° the air still has a bit of a chill. I’ll wait until it warms up more!
Lynette, this looks beautiful and a photographic study of blue! Is this a place where you can go on a daily basis? Happy (Maundy) Thursday! 😀

I imagine it will fill up quickly once the weather warms.

It will. I like seeing it empty like this but it’s also great to see people enjoying it, too. Cheers.

What a nice peaceful springtime view. Having the walk empty of others for now allows you to enjoy your walk, I am sure Lynette. Happy Thursday. Allan

Enjoy the quiet time while it lasts. It will be overcrowded soon enough.

All the more reason to enjoy the beaches as much as you can before the crowds take over!
