1. Beautiful, Lynette. We’re waiting to see just how much Sahara sand is dumped on us today, or if it’ll just be a colouration of the sky and warm temperatures.

6. The lake awakens. Likely the nicest time of year is the spring awakening and the sunny warm fall. Other than that, I would just find it all too hot. Hope you are having a good Thursday Lynette. Allan

   1. I agree, Allan. It can get incredibly hot, especially the last week of July and first week of August. The low 40sC aren’t unusual. That’s when you either stay inside or sit on a shaded part of the beach with cold drinks and dips in the lake when you get too hot. Our deck faces north which makes it very comfortable throughout the summer, the evenings in particular. But I hear you about the heat. As I age I don’t seem to be able to temperature regulate the way I could when younger. I am having a good day; thanks, Allan.

    1. We love the scenery and views here, Linda. I’ve travelled a lot and haven’t seen many places that are more beautiful than this.
