Spring, Maybe?

We have had several days of lovely weather followed by a beautifully warm weekend. Everything is beginning to sprout and grow!

Blue skies and bright sun; it was lovely to sit outside.
A golden willow getting ready to burst.
Alder buds.
Beautiful yellow.
A bevy of buttercups growing through the winter grass.

I hope I’m not too anticipatory, but I think we might have spring on our hands!

    1. We’re slated to stay above freezing going forward but that’s not always the case, is it? March seems to be going out like a lamb but it’s also really unpredictable, too. Later this week we’re supposed to get lots of rain with temperatures around 12C, but I don’t mind that as we still need the moisture. Having these warm days has been wonderful, though!

    1. I agree – the end is near! We’re supposed to get rain later this week but the temperature is expected to remain steady around 12-14C. The rain will help to get everything blooming and budding, too! Enjoy that mountain spring – so gorgeous.

    1. Thanks, Allan.
Oh yes, so great to feel that gentle spring warmth and hear the birds busily tweeting and chirping. The weather gurus have been steady in their prediction that Thursday and Friday will bring rain, but I’m totally okay with that. No forest fire smoke is a good thing!

    1. I love how we can tell that spring is arriving even if winter is still trying to huff and puff. We have been enjoying the most wonderful string of beautiful days but are supposed to get rain later this week. That’s also a good thing – spring showers!

    1. We’re supposed to get a couple of days of rain tomorrow and Friday with temperatures around 12 or so, something that we will continue to need given the drought concerns. I’ve also read that we’re getting an El Niña cooler weather trend starting later this summer, but I haven’t heard much about that lately from the climate gods! I hope your snow decides to turn to rain.
