Warm Day

We recently had company come to stay for a few days, and we lucked out with some beautiful weather.

Okanagan Lake near Kelowna.

We visited a winery near Kelowna where, although the vines hadn’t awakened yet and the opposite mountain tops still had snow, the sun was warm and inviting.

A pinkish pinot gris for our spring day.

With a little wine, we sat outside, enjoying the warmth, view and soft breeze.

A lake boat far below.

It was such a lovely and relaxing spring day.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day. ☘️

  1. The early spring warmth is nice. Glad it worked out for your company visit. Lynette. Today, it is supposed to go to +18C here, before the temperatures drop back to normal. Our snow is gone, which is not a good thing for the coming dry summer. Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Allan

    1. Thank you very much, Allan. 😊
We have 20C and apparently for the next 2 days as well with rain starting on Wednesday. I think you’re supposed to get snow by the middle of next week – I looked up Edmonton weather this morning – but of course the prognostications are less accurate the further out they are. I hope you get rain instead of snow! 😊 Cheers.

  2. Glad you had a lovely day! Our warm days from last week are gone, the wind, the snow and rain are back in town, hopefully not for too long🙂

Happy St Patrick’s day to you too!

    1. Thank you very much. 😊 We are expecting this warm spell to last until Wednesday or Thursday when the rain is supposed to return. We’re still recovering from last year’s drought, so that’s not a bad thing either but I’m happy it’s not snow!

    1. It worked out so well, Linda. They are from the north where it’s -25C right now, so I was hoping for a break on the weather. There was a slight chill in the wind but in a protected spot the sun felt lovely. Cheers.
