Sightings

Although on a recent walk it was still only 5C (41F) out, it was beautifully sunny and the cold wind we have been experiencing rather consistently had stopped.

Okanagan Lake was flat, calm and lovely.

The koi in the fish pond are awake and moving, if a little sluggish.

It definitely feels like spring, even if it’s still a bit coolish.

Happy International Women’s Day.

  1. Love the sunny calm lake shots Lynette, but that koi looks like he is having a bad hair day. Glad it is warmer for you. Also seeping in here finally. Happy International Women’s Day Lynette. Allan

    1. Thanks, Allan. Much appreciated.

Hahaha. 😊 He certainly is. I was using my cell for this photo and couldn’t get a good angle. The ripples were also unhelpful and unpredictable as they were caused by wind gusts. I finally decided to include the funky fish anyway as I liked the colour contrast. Cheers.

  2. A little piece of my heart is still along Okanagan valley, since the day we passed by, years ago. I shall return some day, to take it back😍

Happy International Women’s day to you too!

  3. As long as it’s not windy, that’s a nice, refreshing temp to walk in. If there were no hills/mountains in those photos, I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the sky and the reflection of the sky. Very pretty.

    Have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you very much, Lori. 😊 I agree; it’s a good temperature for walking. Yes, the lake was the most amazing flat calm that day – and a relief after all the cold wind. I was glad that it photographed so well. Cheers.
