A cloud blanket stretches out across one of the benches above Okanagan Lake. Feeding our resident duck flock. Approaching Apex Mountain ski hill. The seasonal light tunnel still glows; the city hasn’t removed it yet. Grape vines on a bench above Okanagan Lake.
Thank you, Jacqui. 😊 The city has said that it would come down in February but it’s also very popular so that might be why it’s still up. Agreed – changing the colours would work well!
Thank you, Anneli. We’ve definitely been washed by a lot of rain (and a bit of rainy snow as well), so we’re clean for sure. 😉 But yes, I like that about this community and area. Cheers.
Thank you very much, Linda. The light tunnel is quite fun at night. It was put up for the Christmas season and supposed to come down in early January but it was so popular that it was left in place until the end of January. Still there, though. Maybe they now plan to change out the lights and leave it? Not sure what’s happening with it but lovely to see it there in this rainy weather!
Wonderful photos. I always like the snow covered trees on approach to the ski hills. Happy Wednesday Lynette. Allan

Beautiful sights, Lynette. That light tunnel–change the colors, it could be up year-round.

I think they are just ducky.

You’ve just made my day lucky!

Beautiful set of pictures. I love all the snowy trees. The light tunnel is a good reason to go for a walk at night to check it out.
