Today, a couple of relaxing autumn scenes.

After a lovely slow rain shower, it was wonderful to see puddles here and there. Following this year’s drought, they are a welcome sight.

A calm, windless Okanagan Lake – it’s always a treat to just sit and enjoy the view for a bit.
Happy Thursday.
Always so beautiful posts 🖊️

And neither the lake nor the puddles are frozen!

Haha!😁 That’s so true! There’s rain, but I don’t have to shovel it. 😉

Lovely to see autumn is still with you! We’ve had a snow day 😏

Ugh. I’m glad I’m no longer in NWT where winter is now well established! Our temperatures here in the Okanagan are still quite warm but we’re also a valley micro-climate that doesn’t get much snow and the temperature doesn’t usually go much below about -2 or 3. There might be a bit in late December or early January (although Dec 2022 was terrible with lows at -10 which wasn’t good for the orchards or grape vines). Stay warm. I hope you don’t have much shovelling to do.

It’s mostly gone now, the first snow of the season is always a shock though. Your winter temps are enviable 😊

It sure is! 🥶 It’s usually a temperate winter but lots of rain and mist.

Definitely looks peaceful and relaxing. Love seeing the sunshine as we are in a cloudy stretch right now. Bernie

We have been getting a mix of rain and sun lately but as we get closer to winter the rain will eventually take over. Have to enjoy the bright days while we can! Cheers.

All nature just seems to be sitting and waiting for the right cue to change seasons. Meanwhile, we all get some bonus time. Allan

We sure do! This has made such a lovely change from the snowy October and Novembers of the north! I’m really enjoying it. 🙂

Looks like some of your trees still have some leaves that are clinging on. I’m sure it’s nice not be seeing any snow this time of year.

We definitely do; quite a lot of green ones left although the inevitable yellowing is occurring.
You are so right! I am usually up to my armpits in snow by now!
