This is from a recent walk on a city trail. It was very relaxing and serene; a beautifully windless autumn day with sun and crisp air.

Happy Wednesday.

Every fall day outside is a gift. A beautiful day here yesterday Lynette and not a bad one today. All our snow is gone, but, it will be back. Happy Wednesday. Allan

Thank you Allan.
I agree. At the end of next week we are going on holidays for a month but when we get back it will likely be raining with the possibility of some snow, too. We’ll do a lot of walking while away, but it’s important to enjoy these great walking-weather days now. Yup, your snow will return.

And no hills! Beautiful, Lynette.

No, not on this section, but we’re surrounded by mountains (we’re in a valley between ranges) so there’s more than enough climbing to be had!

I can tell you’re enjoying not having to wear heavy-duty winter clothes and slogging through the snow.

I totally am! It has been completely wonderful, especially the slow autumn decline. That doesn’t really exist in the north. It goes from summer to winter in about two days. My parka maybe will be worn for a few days in January but it might be too hot!

Hello there. How often do you go on walks?

Hi Neil, usually every day for about 5 km (3.1 miles) in the city.

It was. And it was also a discovery for me as I hadn’t been aware of this trail tucked in at the end of the lake.
