Mount Robson Provincial Park is in British Columbia just west of Jasper National Park. It is the most prominent peak of the Rocky Mountains and is completely surrounded by park lands.

When we drive from Northwest Territories to Penticton, we often stop at Mount Robson to stretch our legs although we have never stayed there. The walking/hiking is amazing.
Happy Tuesday.
Absolutely stunning. I would love to see it someday.

We have been fortunate enough to take this route through the Rockies 3-4 round trips a year. It’s so gorgeous.

We always play a game when we drive through this area. It is called will Robson show its face today. Often as not, the answer is No. but we still like to play. Happy Tuesday Lynette. Allan

I have a couple of older photos from 5-6 years ago showing a clear Mount Robson, but I don’t think I’ve seen it completely clear since then. Last time through it was definitely wearing its cap!

It looks impressive and must feel powerful to stand at the base of these huge mountains.

They can definitely put you in your place. I have always found them calming – yes, there’s such power and vastness there that my problems become meaningless.

I don’t really think of myself that way but I guess that’s true.

I just meant that man is so small compared to the great forces of nature.

We’ve never been to Mount Robson Provincial Park, but I’ll have to add it to the list for the next time we visit Jasper. The mountain scenery looks stunning.

It’s just to the west of Jasper, next door, really. It’s so gorgeous and you would probably enjoy the hiking/walking that’s available.
