I am on my way to Penticton and drove through Jasper National Park. The photos aren’t great because I took them from a moving vehicle, but they are a taste of this beautiful park.

It definitely was. We stopped at Mount Robson park (which is next to Jasper) to take a short walk; it was so great.

Both Jasper and (relatively) nearby Banff National Parks are breathtakingly beautiful. I haven’t been there for decades, but it’s good to know that such places are as they were, not only decades ago, but centuries ago. Oh, Canada, you did well to preserve them!

Thank you very much. M and I love these parks and have spent a lot of time in them (and the others https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/culture/spm-whs/sites-canada/sec02h). We had our wedding at Lake Louise in Banff, in fact. Agreed – breathtakingly beautiful!

We were in Jasper just over a week ago. It’s too bad our paths didn’t cross. The scenery looks lovely.

We had a wonderful time in the Canadian Rockies. We hardly had any rain. Some of the trails at higher elevations still had snow, which made hiking interesting (or impossible), but it looked really pretty. We also saw an insane amount of wildlife.

I saw quite a bit of snow on the slopes as we were driving through, and yes, it’s pretty, but not great for hiking. Fantastic that you saw lots of animals. I’m looking forward to your posts on your latest park visits.
