Penticton is one of the few communities in the world that sits between two lakes. Below is a photo of Skaha Lake; we lived near this lake up until last November when we moved to the other end of Penticton and the larger Lake Okanagan.

Happy Wednesday!

Yes, it’s very identifiable as autumn. It can get very windy in Penticton in the autumn, and lots of people kite board on Skaha (they are amazing to watch), so when the calm days arrive, it’s important to enjoy them!

It’s a very pretty area, and has great weather for three of four seasons.

It does. Winter is winter, of course, but much easier than north of 60!

Thank you very much. 🙂 Yes, it’s from last autumn on a very windless day.

What a stunning picture. I love the golden yellows from the leaves and how blue the sky looks.

Thank you very much. Yes, I do as well. Penticton can be quite windy in autumn (Skaha is popular for kite boarding until about mid-November), and that day was very calm. Great for this type of photography.

Not spring foliage colors! Love the gold, though.

This is from last autumn, so definitely not a spring shot! I hope to get some good summer shots when I get back in 5 weeks. Cheers.
