We had a bit of a storm blow through …

… and it’s supposed to be colder over the next couple of days …

… but warmer by Friday or Saturday.
That’s February for you.
Happy Wednesday.

There is still a lot of winter left, I guess. That darn groundhog mentioned all the snow though. Your first photo makes it look like it is trapped between 2 seasons, not knowing which way to go. Have a good Wednesday Lynette. Allan

Thanks, Allan. Your description of the first photo is very true. The weather was around +1, the clouds came in, dropped some snowy rain, the sun came out, and then the cycle repeated! We have the same thing going on again today. My takeaway? Never trust a groundhog selling weather facts. 😉

I wonder if it was the nice end of the storm that blew in here. I’d take your version of it. 😊 Maggie

Must have been. 😉 Yes, considering how hard this storm hit so many points further east we really had a nothing burger.

Lovely shots & views Lynette, our temps are yo-yoing quite drastically at the moment, I always wonder about the effect on nature

Thank you very much, Brian. Depending on how far the yo-yo is travelling it can be quite hard on everything or have very little effect at all. We haven’t had a drastic change in temperatures so everything should be okay. Cheers.

Such beauty even on stormy days! Hooray for the warmer weather and we are promised temperatures into mid teens (centigrade) here in England for the weekend – I’m not packing up my winter gear yet though! 😀

Yes, the views here are beautiful, even when the weather is poor. Our temperatures are supposed to climb up for the weekend too (we do Celsius here as well) after this little storm. Agreed; not wise to pack up the winter gear yet! 😊 Cheers.

We have been up and down in the overcast/rain/sun department, definitely, but nothing like much of the rest of the country with all the nasty storms they’ve been getting.

Glad to hear the cold is only supposed to be temporary! It’s supposed to get a bit warmer here too over the next few days.

Yes, it actually is temporary as we are back to 7 today. We actually do seem to get our worst weather in mid-February it seems, but it’s really nothing to complain about, that’s for sure. Nothing like the winter you’ve been getting. Glad to hear that you’re warming up!
