A Genuinely Sunny Day

We were lucky enough to have a rare sunny day …

… and I made sure that I got out there to enjoy it.

The ducks definitely did.

It was lovely to sit and watch the sun go down through last year’s dried hydrangeas, knowing that they will soon be replaced by spring growth.

Happy Monday.

    1. Thank you, Annika. 😊 As I returned home I saw huge dark clouds coming from the south toward us, so I’m glad I got out first a ramble. The ducks were busy eating and chatting – that sort of very low murmuring that they do – and seemed to be really enjoying themselves. Cheers.

  1. Sunshine in winter is a bonus. After nearly a week of above 0 here, we are seeing nothing but sunshine and very little snow. Hopefully, the ice stays away, so we can keep walking. Happy Monday Lynette. Allan

    1. It sure is. I see by our forecast that we’re supposed to get sun over the next week with temperatures around 6-7. That might not work out as our forecasts tend to be inaccurate any further out than two days as the mountains change things up a lot. Agreed, no ice is best. Here’s to some good walks!

        1. It definitely sounds like a throwback winter for sure. Our son who lives in London has said that it has been much like his childhood winters were, too. Agreed; spring will be that much more welcome!
