September can be such a beautiful month and while we still haven’t cooled off very much, that autumnal atmosphere is somehow here and breathing gently into our days.
It’s a fantastic time to simply admire what nature has wrought.

Enjoy it while you can. We’ve had a burst of warmer weather these past few days and ended up turning our AC back on.

We literally haven’t turned ours off since May. It’s been much too hot this month to be able to sleep. The forecasters keep saying that our temperatures are going down to the 20s “next week” but it still hasn’t happened! It’s been very comfortable in the early mornings or evenings or if there’s a breeze off the lake but otherwise it’s been hot. 🥵
