It’s the height of summer in the northern hemisphere and there’s a lot to enjoy and admire.
Penticton Creek – it’s really more river-like than creek-like since we’ve been having a lot of rain this summer.More pond lilies getting ready to bloom. Clearing skies after another rain.
Thank you, Ally. At times we’ve had enough rain this year that it looks like a proper river! Right now though I would probably describe it as a scrawny one. 😊 Cheers.
Another beautiful glimpse Lynette. We had another showery day yesterday, but hopefully on the mend for the rest of the week. Things are lush pretty here, but my tomatoes need some heat. Thanks for sharing. Happy Monday. Allan
Thank you very much, Allan. I hope you get some good sun this week for your tomatoes. Yes, very lush here, too. Lots of rain with interspersed sun so everything is just bursting right now. Lots of fresh veggies and fruit available; so wonderful. We’re supposed to get a week of high 30s starting tomorrow and maybe that will reach you, too. Cheers.
Thank you very much. 😊 Yes, our recent multi-year drought has ended, thankfully, and the fire risk has been low, too, so yes, it’s been great. Everything is lush and bursting. I hope you get some rain soon. I believe you’re in Ontario? It’s sweltering there right now.
Rain is even nicer when it leaves views like these in its wake. All lovely photos, Lynette!

Thank you very much, Belinda. I agree. We have been getting lots of rain-washed sun. Apparently headed for clear skies and high 30s this week, though.

That’s either one chubby creek or a scrawny river. Difficult for me to decide. Happy Monday!

The creek always looks cool and pretty.

It has been looking like that since spring. It’s amazing what a little water volume will do!

Indeed, we have a heat warning after another one.. unfortunately, the climate has changed a lot lately.
Stay safe! xx

It definitely has. Just ask the farmers and vintners around here (and probably Ontario, too). Stay cool. 😎

Very pretty. The days are starting to get a bit shorter though. So we might as well enjoyed the warm weather and beautiful scenery while we can.

Thank you very much, Linda. Yes, I’ve been noticing and I agree. Shorter days already … not what I want to notice, for sure!
