We’re on the mainland in the southern interior between two mountain ranges, so a bit of distance from Victoria. Yes, Victoria is beautiful.

We really considered getting one but in the end decided against it. A boat ride in those conditions would so great, though.

Great colours.
We just sold our boat. Like many people here, we had constant troubles with our engines. To have three to four hours of fun, we had to work about five hours on our boat. Now we all have canoes.

Hi Fab Four, I understand. My dad had the same issue. As a child I remember waiting around (at the time it seemed like forever) while he sorted various engine problems. Canoes are a great alternative. Thank you very much for your good wishes. Cheers.

We have been getting lots of sun but plenty of rain too as well as cooler, much more comfortable temperatures (for example 29 instead of 38!). Agreed, Linda. A little rain is a big game changer.
