A lovely grouping Lynette. Spring flowers are a much needed bright spot after winter. Happy Tuesday. Allan

Thank you very much, Allan. I agree. The sun and flowers are such mood enhancers after a damp, overcast winter. Cheers.

These are all gorgeous, Lynette, particularly the tulip!

Those tulips were in a large pot next to the city hall main entrance and were so lovely. There are lots of parks, gardens and green spaces here and a large number of municipal gardeners and groundskeepers to keep up with all the maintenance. They do such an excellent job, including with the tulips. 😊

Those cute little faces are always so pretty! I love this time of year when you can literally stop every few steps and smell the roses – or at this point, the lilacs or violets!

Me too. I love the pansies. Little stepmothers? Stiefmuetterchen.

Ja, ich hatte diesen Namen vergessen! I have always liked them but I don’t see them very often any more.

My mother always called them that, and ever since, I look for a face in those flowers (and usually find it).

I love lilacs!! My jolly jump ups are blooming, and it’s always cool to see these tiny tiny little pops of colour. I clunky figure out if your pansies were tiny or not.

Lilacs are gorgeous and the scent is just heavenly. 😊 Yes, these little pansies are quite small. I’ve never heard them called jolly jump ups before. I had to look up that name, but that’s such a good description for them! 😊

So many delightful colours! Our lilacs haven’t started blooming yet, likely in the next couple of weeks.

We really have been fortunate in getting the right amount of sun and rain to make everything just pop! It’s been wonderful.
