Looking forward to the green, Lynette. My neighbours look at me strangely as I remove the leaf litter from my frozen lawn, but I can see the green starting already. Who is crazy now? Happy Sunday. Allan
Thank you, Allan. So nice to see those tender greens starting to show! We still have a lot of brown and grey but that’s definitely changing. Your lawn will soon be green and lovely!
Yes, autumn can be beautiful, but I always know that winter is on its way soon after and that takes some of the joy out of it. The reverse is true of spring, with summer ahead.
Yes, we are such a big country – one of the reasons why I dislike generalisations about us and our weather – that weather can be extremely different from one location to another, but I love that about us. Glad to hear that you’re getting some melting and spring-like temperatures. Cheers.
A lovely sight and looks like a beautiful day.

Spring colors for the win. Still more gray than green here.

We have a lot of grey and brown here still, too, but the tender greens are starting to show. Cheers.

Funny how we all wait eagerly for spring but few of us wait eagerly for winter.

I love autumn and how beautiful the weather and colours can be but agreed, I certainly don’t anticipate winter!

We always cracked up when it’s “cold” in Toronto and smile a bit smugly that their cold really isn’t all that cold.

Haha. 😊 That’s so true. Northerners – from Yellowknife for instance – can be smug about that, too.

As well they should be. That area can make us prairie folk look like the wimps.

Yup – I experienced more than a few mornings of -50, frozen eyelashes and all. 😊
