A Sunny Day – Yay!

We just had a beautiful January day with predictions for two more of them, so we’re planning to enjoy them as much as we can.

It was definitely brisk out as it was only 3C (37F), but there was no wind and I could actually feel a bit of the sun’s power.

After lots of grey overcast and rain, some sun and blue skies are a real treat!

Happy Tuesday.

    1. It was such a nice little break, Linda. Our lows are about -3 (at night) with about +3 during the day, so pretty comfortable. Maybe enjoy some hot chocolate and a good blanket to stave off that windchill? Cheers.

    1. Yes, our high temperature is supposed to go down to -3 for the weekend. Everyone here is holding their breath that it doesn’t go much lower than that as it was a year ago that we had the terrible minus temperatures that so badly affected the orchards and wine grapes.

  1. Gorgeous. It is so nice to feel that sun on the face, even when the air has a chill. It’s bright, clear sky here today, but our temps are in the teens (-9c). Even so, I went outside with the dog and put my face toward the sun. 🌞

    1. Isn’t that fantastic? And it’s so much more enjoyable when the air is cold but you can still feel the sun’s power. I think it’s important to grab those sunny winter days to get outside and I bet your poochie loved it. 😊We’re supposed to have one more good day tomorrow so I’m definitely going to make the most of it. Who knows when the sun might shine again – we could be socked in by overcast for the next two weeks!

    1. That’s about 7C, so not too bad if there’s no wind. It’s all relative, isn’t it? When I lived in NWT, the temperatures here in the valley always seemed so balmy (and really, for this time of year they are) while I was dealing with -45C (-45F). That relativity is always important to remember!
